This Irish Winter Festival of Poker was a real success in terms of participation, as a lot of players did not want to miss the chance of taking part in this popular tournament.
As every poker player has probably experienced, one of the best things of taking part in this type of tournaments in both online poker rooms as well as in the live events, is enjoying the tension experienced at certain points of the competition.
But in this occasion, it seems that the Irish Winter Festival didn’t only create tension among the players, but also among the audience. In fact the only bad thing of the day happened when one member of the audience, who by the way was quite drunk, had to be expulsed of the premises where the competition was taking place because he attacked the tournament director. After he was taken away, the director kept working as if nothing had happened even though he had been badly hit in the head.
This attack, is of course an isolate case, and does not represent at all what poker is all about.
In any case, for everybody who enjoys the tension of taking part in a poker tournament, a good option is taking advantage of the wide variety of competitions you can enjoy online.
